Not so fast there young man, the dispatcher hatching anything and not telling you isn't exactly the thing I would want to hear after he said the truck wasn't making enough, that means the money generator in that truck is being replaced with someone else is going towards JopMo that can run thebtruck on in. I speak from experience, when I called in to tell my FM that I was headed home she put me on yold and sent me thru to the safety dept, not hey I need you to speak to so in so or nothing... So be scared very very ascared!

Just west of Knoxville at the J.

Sitting at Joplin, getting a few repairs done.
To TruckerNurse, sorry to hear the news, but prayers up for you my friend. Godspeed in your successful recovery. -
As I have posted numerous times, OTR just isn't my cup of tea. Too much stress on the wife during the winter. Mutually agreed with Safety that it is time to move on. They'll get me dispatched to a terminal to turn the truck in. Overall has been a good experience.

I hear ya, but Had experience in the corporate world of shark eat shark so I "Mistakenly" came out the wrong border crossing and went to Taylor Terminal. Asked if they wanted to relay it there and was told no. Sat there for 2 hours the. Asked again if they wanted me to relay it there and got another NO. They had their chance to remove me from the load and had other drivers waiting for loads in Taylor and passed it up. Would have been cheaper and more convenient to terminate me there. BUT having worked in the business world I know sometimes anything can be overlooked so I double checked frequent flier mile balance to make sure i had enough to get me home and thouroughly cleaned the truck just incase worse comes to worse I get home @ 10 PM tomorrow night and start at the new company Monday after next. Not sure whether I needed to do all this but better safe then sorry
I was all calmed down but then got a little paranoid again. I looked at your posts and am calm again. Not trying to be mean bud but you should probably stick to 1 company for awhile and stop hopping. If they terminate me (7 yrs driving Conway being the second company besides my fathers (total of 3, 1 was 6 mo total, the other 5.5 years), 1 "accident" non-chargeable, and 0 tickets then I'm comfortable I can get another job and would be a little perplexed as to why.Last edited: Feb 9, 2012
