The other day I was playing on the radio and heard a guy going by the name. Anyway I was up in Manitoba at the time so I thought I would give it a try, think it was JJD. I caught him and he was in Tenn or something or Georgia. I forget, anyway it was not the Jesse james I thought it would be.
Maybe some day before I get out of the truck, I might get to reach JJD and give him a long distance hello.
I know I have reached Texas a few times so it just might happen.
Didn't know there was more then one Jesse James

Cool story bro!

Unfortunately there are several impostors out there.

I know of 3 Jesse's besides myself, one in Galveston, One in Maryland, and the other maybe in Georgia, can't remember for sure, but somewhere on the East Coast...Probably more, since there's allot of Jesse James "want-a-be's" around...
But there's only one in Big D! And I hang out on channel 28!:smt033 -
Yeah, there's at least one guy out there who says his name is Jesse James. He's not famous though.... turns out he's some kind of motorcycle mechanic.
-
Yeah...think he's over in Florida somewhere...Married well, then pissed that away, now he's just a broke down, out of work, has-been...

I hear people calling back to you but never hear you. Maybe you should swing that thing a little farther north sometime.
When I am playing I run either 28 or 26. -
Well Rat, did you decide to keep on trucking or turn wrenches again?

I have a few apps in at different places around town. One is just a maint position taking care of stuff around the business. Good bennies etc. Have not been called for an interview yet on any of the apps.
Right now it all stems on the bosses choice of a new ride for me right now. They were on the phone with two local dealerships yesterday talking about engines and warrenties so I did not get a chance to talk to them about what truck they are thinking off. So they have not ordered anything just yet. I have decided I am going to strongly suggest a big hood such as a 389 or a W900. If not then I will drive the current truck until the time comes that it has to go to the dealer to be traded in. I will have some time to really decide then since it will be a few months before the new truck is ready. I am going to use that time to further explore job opportunities ,if I don't get the maint job.
I don't really think I will get back into wrenching. Did it for close to 20 years and don't know how much more my back can take being bent over a fender anymore. I am starting to get carpal tunnel in my right hand real bad also. More then likely from the years I spent wrenching and using airtools.
Not to mention that I have been away from it for a long time and it would take me a great while to learn the new systems being used these days.
But it is kinda up in the air for now.
I have already packed all my nonessential stuff out of the truck. All that is left is my radio and a duff bag with a change of cloths in it along with showering stuff etc. Ready for that quick getaway so to speak. -
Your in North Dakota? I've been getting skip from all over the Northern part of the Country now for several months, but don't think I ever hear anyone from the Dakotas...
Get a chance, run next door to Montana...I get those guys almost daily!
