I hope this is small sign of things to come in 2012. I don't know anything about Maverick Trucking out of Arkansas other than this article reporting driver pay increases.

A penny increase just amounts to keeping up with the cost of living. Every driver should get a penny a year to keep up with inflation. But they don't. Drivers been falling behind for 10 years.
Maverick says 43 cpm which isn't much when their tractors average 1790 miles a week according to safestat. That's $40K a year if you never go home. -

I did over 50k in my first full year of driving with maverick. I average 2200 to 2500 a week.
I have not found any company that pays as good as maverick does.projump, Flatbedder 1966, grusco and 2 others Thank this.
