Hello everyone. I just started work for MCT Transport out of Sioux Falls South Dakota. I just took an early retirement from my old job to become a truck drive. I was a Police Officer for 15 years. Truck drivers are big in my family. My Grand Father was a driver for Roadway for over 35 years. My uncles all drive for US Xpress. So before you hate me for being the police you should know with the exception of at fault traffic accidents I never wrote one ticket to a truck driver. I did stop and give lots of warnings to them. Could not bring myself to write a ticket to a profession I admired so much. I will start training this coming Monday. I am so excited. Has anyone here heard of MCT? Or has anyone here know if they are a good company or not? I have to tell you after reading some of the blogs I am a little worried. There were no blogs I found about MCT so I hope thats a good sign. Thanks everyone and glad to be on-board.

    Hi Doc,

I too just recently retired from police work (26 years). I should be graduating from school in a couple of weeks. I hope to start on March 5. I have offers from TMC and Schneider (tanker). I thought I had made up my mind about where to go, but I find myself flip flopping.

I looked at MCT and if I believe they are part of the Comcar family. From what I've read and heard, Comcar is a good company but just doesn't pay much. I see alot of their trucks around here in NC.
