Ok, some new questions.
Does Millis go to Canada?
From what I see you don't need hazmat, is that true?
Do you use your own physical, say from your own Dr?
How does the orientation process work after your app has been accepted, and do you do the drug screen at orientation?
Thanks again
Howdy

No Canada
No Hazmat
Yes you get your own physical
Drug screen is at the end of school/training -
Ok, I'm closer to the edge of jumping onboard.
Can anyone tell me how orientation goes for the expierenced drivers?
How long does it take to become a trainer?
My hesitation in jumping onboard is I am still trying to convince myself it's ok to run in the northeast again

Orientation is three days. Mon-Wed following one of the classes. New and experienced guys go thru orientation together. Consists of road test, pee test, co policy and get issued load lock and straps.
Trainers have to have 1 year experience and 90 days with the company before going thru their trainer course. And you can't be regional and train. -
Let us know if you have anymore questions!

I have 3 days off so I gonna do some serious thinking, thanks for all the help.
Only question I can think of right now is where would I do orientation, I live just northwest of Madison, WI -
Pretty sure you would do orientation in Richfield, WI.. just north of Milwaukee!
-
They also do orientation in Black River Falls for experienced guys.

A lot of times when I have to leave out on a Sunday(my company is in Beaver Dam) I stop at the truck stop in Richfield and have the Sunday special.
Be safe out there this weekend everyone. -
Not trying to step on yer peepee, but I think I saw one of the guys on here say his trainer was a regional driver. I could be wrong tho, my meds have kicked in.
