i think the ground boot stomped me the other night but guess what, i worked 15 hours and fought like the devil for 13 of it and came out on top, i was this close to calling dispatch and sayin i wanted to pack it in for the night, everyone has their limits, the last 3 days i had very limited sleep because a little lady has been taking much of my time and i found out how far i could actually stretch myself, but theres no way in hell i ever give up, everything that could go wrong went wrong and its all basically my fault, so who the hell am i to pack it in for the night? i got to the point where i just stopped the truck and said f it, i was behind so many times on the log book, i just took a ten minute break, ate a bit, cleared my head and went back at it and kept fighting and i won, theres no doubt in my mind alot of people would have quit. I'm not sayin my experience is like others because i really pack in the hours and burn the candle bright and bring the energy EVERY DAY, but ive made my own personal choices to this job and ive taken a tough job to the next level and i'm not stopping. Theres nothing here at nabors pushing a person, you can take yur time and work safe and do a good job, ive taken a different aproach, i still work safe but i push it hard because we only live once and when everything is said and done, i want to be known as someone who may have not been the best driver but nobody could out work me.

this country needs a bit more than that, theres a lot of treason and traitors to the constitution in this country and i'm afraid that theres so many of them that we're gonna have to gas them all. The constitution provides the answer for traitors in this country and it says death is the penalty for treason and i believe that.

    pm you

Well, the old(er) man here whooped the physical torture test in San Angelo yesterday. Now if they don't get me confused with someone that has committed horrendous acts against society I should be good to go for next Thursday. I promised to pull my part of the load......going to at least stay ahead of the guy the bear is closing in on.

    the bear?

i have no idea but i got stuck in the mud tonight, winch truck shows up and it starts sleeting, raining and snowing and pulling cable over and over again to try and get this truck, not just out of the mud, but out of location, wet, hands numb and wet, the truck just sliding where ever it wants, i'm telling you, i know for a fact that many would quit if they are quitting already before they encounter these situations, its not the toughest situation i ever been in but its hell, no doubt about it......and then i had to do an emergency call right after it when i was told to shut down and come back to the yard, you got to be ready for anything out here. Lately the job has been tough, tougher in some ways than many jobs, but when a guy says he works the oil field, you got to put in your dues. I dont like the hell but i like the sense of accomplishment afterwards and in all reality, the hell is just temporary and you know for a fact there is better days ahead, so you hang in there and gratify in the pleasure of knowing you go where most people quit.

If anyone is applying to Nabor's you might want to do the application online because I had to because they no longer do paper ones. It will save time
