Haven't been on here a lot in the last few days but let me update, things were going awesome, for the first few days trainer seemed like he would be a cool guy, even when I hit the other trailer he was really cool about it, I do like running team however you all know how I feel about being screamed at, so the first time I was having trouble finding the receiver, and the qualcom directions got you to the street the shipper was on but that was it, now im new still I didn't think to call the shipper, wich by the way nobody answered the phone anyway, but what he wanted me to do was do the arrival call, so instead of saying hey so we don't get a service failure an we know were right on top of the receiver why don't you send the arrival call . Bit he kept asking me what time it was on the west coast, since we were on the east coast an i was getting nervous i would get in somewhere that i couldnt get out. I said i didnt know, wich caused him to blow a gasket, the only other time we had an issue was I got in trouble for going under 1hr of drive time because I couldn't wake him up an my instructions were to not stop anywhere when I was down to about 45 minutes I found a Ta to pull into when he woke up he asked what I was doing I said finding a safe place to switch an where u can get some coffe, he asked why I didn't pull over on the shoulder to switch and why I hadntturned the dome light on and I told him because I didn't think we were supposed to, slighty agitated does not begin to describe the fit. Now forget I ran 9 hrs before stopping for fuel an got almost 8 miles to the gallon an that I let you sleep for an extra 2 hrs and got us within 40 miles of the 90. Before you decided to roll out of the rack. Your really gonna be pissed for running my clock under an hr andpulling in to a ts instead of on the shoulder, so far my luck with trainers sucks, do you all just automatically assume we are gonna know what were supposed to do in every sittuation and not everyone was born with the knowledge. If you tell me to make decisions based on what I think is right why would you scream at me because you didn't like it... so I guess solo it. Will be as soon as I get my miles.

Sorry to hear about that. That's one of my biggest fears going into this, getting the right trainer...
Hang tough Moose! -
Sounds like you did all the right things except let your clock get too close. Keep cool. You're almost there. -
Sounds to me like he has some pretty moronic rules, and doing an emergency stop to swap drivers is worse than dumb; it's dangerous, and something I'm sure Prime would like to hear about (hint).Last edited: Feb 12, 2012
MONT74 Thanks this. -
I agree with Emton. Swapping on the side of the interstate is a bad idea. Did a good job far as I can see. I cant say nothing bout the hours, my trainer had me run the full 11 everytime.

I mean by no means am I the perfect driver or student an if I screw up I expect to be corrected just kinda tired of getting screamed at.

And this guy is a "Buddy?"
Not like you didn't have options. Your FM offered up a guy. I offered and you took two weeks to turn me down without even an interview and instead told me you chose to go with "a buddy"
Did you even interview the other guy? Interview is a two way street. First thing I tell a guy is it's just as much a decision of his as it is of mine.
