Mercer

I just loaded last thursday with another mercer driver that has one. I had to give him crap cuz my wife and I strapped and tarped almost as fast as he and his wife strapped and rolled that thing back into place. It is the 3rd one I have seen with mercer. One even has the Mercer logo on the side of it.

 

I've also seen a few. Though haven't seen the one with Mercer name on the curtain.
I beleive Curtain side adds about 2500 lbs. And there is some shippers that won't load curtain sides. But others that pay more specificly for curtain side.

 

im just about to sign on next week with Mercer ! Im with other company now and my truck avg $1.49 for all the miles i run from november to last week ! Well the point is what you guy avg on this days with Mercer ?

 

Wouldn't it have been better to ask that prior to deciding on Mercer?

 

cuse the small company im leased to is going out of business and i have to move before that happened. thats why . i live in lorain,ohio betwen toledo and cleveland is this a good area to be with mercer ?

 

Good area is you can carry heavy payload. The toledo area is big steel area. Lots of 47K loads but lot of us can only carry a 45K or less.
Though right now things are slow, all over I think.

 

Well this are my truck specs KW T-600 2005,48-102 manac 2003, 96 inches high conestooga tarp, my truck light weight is #32,500

 

My average is $1.76 from November 1st to January 31st. Thats every single mile I put on this truck off of the odometer. Included in this time is a bounce of 1227 miles and several more that where between 500-850 miles.
