Okay, did you make it out of training ar werner?
When I left prime standard was 80k for a c seed.
If you didn't make it out of training at werner, you should serially rethink your career choice because trucking is not only tough but it appears at first sight that you don't wish to treat time with a trainer as an opportunity to learn rather than an inconvenience. Trucking emphasizes safety over all else for a reason. It is the 5th most dangerous hoc in the world. SAFETY isn't A thing, it's the MAIN thing.

Mr. Magoo,
Read carefully:
"I drove for Werner for 5 months before I quit. I went through Werner's training. If I decide to work for Prime, do I have to go OTR with a trainer again? Or can I just get assigned a truck and start making money.
Thanks for any input."
What part of "I went through Werner's training" don't you understand?
Of course I finished it, that's what "went though" means. I know it's a "tough" profession and how quickly you are to judge by saying "it appears at first sight that you don't wish to treat time with a trainer as an opportunity to learn rather than an inconvenience." WTF dude? I finished training with ONE trainer and how the #### do you know how I treated my time with the trainer?
I asked a simple ####### question. If you have trouble reading and deciphering what I wrote then don't ####### respond with your idiocy.
I'll tell you it was an "inconvenience" reading your response. Mr. Magoo, people like you are the EXACT reason why I left Werner. I couldn't stand working with ####### incompetent, idiotic people.
Thanks for sharing your dim ray of intelligence upon us all. :dink: -

Since you havent given any level of experiance other than "I got thru training" I have to assume that is your level of experiance. So based on your info I'd say YES you will have to OTR train with a trainer.
Another thing, depending how short your your time was at Werner, they might not hire you and tell you to get 6 months to a year at ONE carrier and they'll hire you. They frown on INEXPERIANCED job hoppers.
If you don't believe me, give me a day or two to dig up some posts from guys who were told to do exactly that.
Now maybe you have months or a year more than "got thru training" that's all I have to on. -
It's incompetent people like me? I just wanted detail on whether you COMPLETED training. And I've been an owner op for 15 of 19 years kiddo 6 of those spent at Prime... I didn't ask or care for your reason fire leaving werner and certainly didn't ask for your wet behind the ears attitude.... But best if luck getting help with that attitude
And you're wrong... People like me would've said you're in the wrong industry and fired you. Be fortunate in knowing CL wasn't still in charge of Werner as he would've let you go in a quick fashionFLATBED Thanks this. -
Do a search of his posts
