Hurry up and get one while you can, because Telex sold Turner to DAS back in December, and DAS just found out that the Japanese company that made the audio transformer for Turner went out of business last year. Since that part is no longer being made, DAS is trying to get a couple companies to reverse engineer the original transformer, but even if they get it close, it won't be exactly the same.

I personally don't like the Road King but they do last. I use an Astatic mic. The one I have now is about 5 years old and I've only had to have a wire reattached which is a common thing with any mic.

with that being said,I will be ordering a few more and putting them away in my stash, lolrabbiporkchop and Kujo Thank this.

I like the road kings and astatic mics but I hate the cords on the astatic's they're way too long.

man i feel the same way,i recently picked up the 636L and that long ### cord was annoying me to no end so i installed a hanger just above the passenger side visor and the excess hangs a bit out of my line of sight to my gear keeper
