    2001 pete with a C15 550hp after it sits for a night it does not want to start! have to crank it over way to long for my liking any sugesstions?

    check the grounds in your battery box, I had that problem with my detroit, found that the computer was not grounding.

    Sounds like you are loosing prime in the fuel system. You probably have something in the return fuel line check valve located in the filter base on the engine. It does'nt take much to keep the check valve open and its a pretty inexpensive fix(bout $27.00 plus tax). Hope this helps!

    thanks changed valve think i was losing prime .... will find out monday when i try to start it
