OKC is Lot Lizard Capitol...no question. One good future option for you may be the truck parking behind the McDonald's that is located two blocks North of I-40 on N. Meridian. Enter into the McDonald's at the regular car entrance. It is made for trucks as well since you go all the way back and will see the truck parking as you circle around the restaurant. There are several places to park and you will be within walking distances to numerous restaurants. N Meridian is the primary hotel zone in OKC and there are restaurants and hotels that go back south from this location for a few miles.

 

I stay at the Riverside south of town. They have semi parking that is largely unknown. It is within walking distance to McD and the Loves is across the street. One of my favs.

 

Welcome! We've got a good little group here you'll be joining. Tomorrow us newbies go down to DPS and take our permit test. Then Thursday we'll be backing on the range. I can't wait. There are some people here who just aren't taking things seriously and will be going home after our DPS trip, I'm sure. But for the most part everybody is really focused. This is an awesome school and the instructors are phenominal! If more people knew about this place they'd be swamped with applications. No doubt. Well safe travels and I'll be seeing you soon!

Unfortunstly Connie is on vacation. She is a great instructor. Plus NOBODY would be slacking off if she were there.

 

AWESOME JOB LADIES. Might swing by tomorrow but talk will be out driving. Going to the yard to get my girl in the shop for her first check up. The grow up so fast. She has 35000 already.

 

Greyhound definately sucks. The best part is getting off that rolling porta potty. Happy flying.

Yea I was looking forward to meeting Connie. After watching her on youtube and passing her in the hall Monday I was really interested in seeing how she was in person. Oh well....

 

I forgot how much you can pack into a green army duffel bag. Been a few years.

 

wow....6 days hometime,180 hours of dvr programming, homecookin', kinda sucked...I'm so happy to be back home in my truck.
