Is 65 yrs old too old for a new otr STUDENT?

I am a 60 year old school bus driver looking to go CDL this summer.
I feel great, my BP is controlled w/ meds and I am excited about my last career move.
I see these "sag pant" kids on my bus every day. They are arrogant, rude and probably won't be worth a warm bucket of spit by the time they get to my age.

You'll do fine. When I was in San Antonio Swift Academy the older guys (55+) did much better on the written and driving test than the young ones. Out of 17 people I started with in my class, 7 made it out of school. There were 14 people under 55 and 3 older than 55. All three of the older crowd made it and only 4 of the younger ones made it. Now we are out with mentors, the 3 older ones are still in. The mentor process is the hardest part of Swift. 2 of the 4 young ones threw in the towel. It just goes to show how idiotic the OP is in his post.
