:biggrin_25514:Any tips would be great. We've got a yard in Fonatana, however i'll be delivering in Anaheim around 1am, and picking up in chatsworth at 11am...

don't want to have to burn the liquid gold to go east to fontana then back west to canoga.

    thanks, in advance !

I'll tell you what I always did when I was going out there. First I would call and see if they had overnight parking so I could get there early. The other thing I noticed about that area is that there are a lot of industrial park areas where you can park for a while. Never really had a lot of trouble with parking out there just pay attention to the area that you are in. Have been to some really bad areas but if you keep your eyes open and are cautious you should be okay.

In many cities in LA and Orange county is ILLEGAL, and there may not be signs posted to let you know. You may see trucks parked right on the side of the freeway, but that is not a good idea either because you could get wrecked trying to pull out into traffic from a standing stop. Always your fault...

Sorry can't be more help, I always stay at our company terminal, regardless.

I think there are a couple places to park up along the I-210 between the Glendale Fwy and the Chatsworth area, if I remember correctly. Pretty empty area out there and I believe that there are a couple freeway-side parking areas at the top of the hills.

Anyone out there who can help? :biggrin_2557:
Picked up load in Hayward CA at 1pm this afternoon, delivery appt. 12-hrs later in City of Industry at 1am. However, there is no street parking near the Macy's DC in Industry and driver will be OUT of hours before appointment time, and won't have time to stop further out, get 10 off and deliver ontime.

Anyone know of "truck-friendly" parking areas near Hwy 60/E. Gale Ave in City of Industry?

He's loading at 8am tomorrow, in City of Ind. as well if that helps.

Help is MUCH appreciated! Thanks Ya'll!!

Thanks so much! He'll be about 3-miles away from that WM and since it's a trailer drop, won't have to manuever with trailer to get to WM.

FWIW, gate guard where he was delivering informed my guy that there is a Carl's Jr. on Hwy 60 @ Fairway Dr. (exit 21) that has truck parking and is open 24-hrs. Only room for about 5-6 trucks/trailers with room for a couple more trucks. He bobtailed it over to that location and it's less than 3-miles to his pick-up tomorrow afternoon.

Thought this might help other drivers who are stuck in the LA. :biggrin_25525:
