How much work does PRIME get up in NEw England?
I just earned my CDL Permit in MA. and am looking to PRIME for training/company position.
I see & hear good and bad about most Co's in here (Schnieder,CRE,Swift, etc) but I hear much more positive words regarding PRIME.
What can you tell me today?
prime trucking.

Check out the northeast region thread and pm bigcheese, he runs up in that area.
Carabello720 Thanks this. -
Hi Im a Rookie in training with prime. We loaded down in Hampton, VA on Tuesday, and delivered the Load in Lebanon, NH to Lumber Liquidators the next day from what the receiver told me up in NH that Prime Just started pulling loads for them and they get about 5 loads a week between two stores. We then went over to Albany NY to pick up a load going out to Scranton, PA. Prime will keep you busy, but the Key is to deliver as early as possible when in the Upper NE. I here that freight runs out quickly in that area so you know the deal the early bird gets the worm. The last thing you want to hear from your fleet manager/dispatcher is that all of the freight is gone for the day.

HMMMMM.... I would threaten legal action if that gets listed on your DAC....you are in the perliminary stages of orientation IE: not officially hired yet. In reality you are at that moment unemployed. -
Another truck stop lawyer. Not getting enough business at the lunch counter at the TA?
He quit during orientation. If that's is what is reported on his DAC "quit during orientation". How can you challenge the validity of that statement.
His job offer was contingent on passing the physical. He would have passed upon completion of a sleep study. He chose to throw a hissy fit and storm out.McBjork and silenteagle Thank this. -
In reality you are at that moment unemployed.
and will be if he never sticks around for orientation & physical , but then he is in charge of his own DESTINY.

Hello All, I am Looking to get back in a rig after 3 years, i do have 6 months of "experience" with c.r. england, i have been thinking alot about prime, but this whole bmi issue scares me, i know i'm going to have to get tested, my question is does prime make it affordable to get a mask if i need one? and if so can it be deducted from my settlement? thank you
-
BMI is only one of the risk factors they look at. Search the Prime forum for sleep apnea (under thread tools) - you'll see a number of threads discussing the subject completely, including costs. The test is done at our terminal in Springfield, and very reasonable payments are deducted from your settlement. Prime works with folks to get past this - you should be afraid of the consequences of not getting treatment if you do suffer from sleep apnea.Fatguy33 Thanks this.
