USX drivers...how's your day??

Praying for you Musicgal,,,and please all pray for my wife to quit smoking.... I dont' smoke anymore and don't want to be around anyone that does.....

 

I would choose Crete as well. Never worked for them, but I did do solo with USX and wasn't happy.

USX won't want to let you get home every 3 weeks.

 

WOW, I did not know she smoked. This has to make it more difficult to be teaming?? I would think with you in the truck it would help her to quit??

im lost idk who to pray for ill pray for everyone on this forum....on the lighter note sd looking at my first truck my old man wants to back me buy the truck out right and pay insurance first year and the money i have saved will be for the first month or so til money starts rolling hes retiring in a few years so we talked about it he wants to help me out and when he retires pick up another truck for him and my mom currently getting 2.50 a mile with this broker well my boss is its been great she said she'll take me on when i get my own truck same rates and i give my boss 5% for dot #'s what do you think? am i an idiot for considering it no age limit on the trucks so im thinking a 01-04 century or columbia a cheap reliable starter truck probably about 19,000 and an 06 carrier unit reefer i found for 9500 with 3400 hrs on it or should i just get my own dot's? idk what they cost or what to do i am an ooida member lol gotta lovethe discounts

Just remember you will need some money in the bank for maint and repairs.

 

Well my day is starting out just lovely. We are on a run from SC to Chicago. I wake up and stick my head up front and am surprised to see we are in Toledo. I had to call dispatch and let them know we are going to be 2 hours late.

I can't take this anymore. I think I need a therapist.

 

Sitting at Castle and Cook in Riverside CA. Hate this place, they always take forever.

 

Dropped off our Fedex load. Now sitting at the 49er in West Sacramento. Does anyone else think the CA dispatchers aren't exactly on the ball?
