No, I agree with it, but I'm not sure the rate is accurate. I normally post what we're paying on a load on the broker board comments section.

Yet another reason why I think LS is calling my name! Convincing my wife
to let me buy a truck is the hardest part LOL.
-
LOL! Well you can always find a BCO that's looking to take a break from the truck for a while and see how well you really like it driving for them?
-
Some post rates on the public board but not many. Some of those rates though must have alot taken of the top. Not saying you but some are god awful.
-
There are some real scheemers out there. My rule of thumb is 10%.
-
Well thats nice to hear and your right theirs some bad apples out their.
-
x2 I only take 10% if the moneys there. usually im 10% until $5000 gross, then its a flat 500 beyond that.
Ive been a truck driver, my career went like this
worked in shipping at a local company
drove for the same company
went to trucking school
went long hauling
had a kid
went to dispatch
load broker
opened brokerage company for a trucking company (did 2400 miles most weekends to sooth the itch)
helped start a new brokerage with a friend
brokerage now has company trucks I keep close to $3.00 per mile, drivers earn 20%
now thinking about going independant (my own truck, cant cure the itch) -
Put some cream on it. So long as it's just an itch and not a drip, it might be curable.
Mommas_money_maker and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
I know a corpsman that can take care of that for you!

Campophinique and Tobasco Sauce is NOT the cure all for the drip! Don't believe 'em if they tell you that...
