As long as I'm not idling and have access to fuel in some states that are cheaper than others, I'm making money on the fuel surcharge. The higher fuel goes, the higher the surcharge goes. I can drive 52 mph indefinitely- they can reschedule and reschedule and reschedule my load until I eventually get there, the longer it takes to deliver, the higher the surcharge will be when I accept the next load.....

 

so, the longer it takes for you to deliver your load. the more fsc you charge the next load?

 

Short hauls with higher rates, Yes will do!
Long hauls with lower rates, No will not do!

 

Not quite sure why you felt the need to put down a respected member of this site. You may want to reconsider how you frame your posts. This seems a little over the top.
