It’s one year a company I work for it, they lying to me, every time I ask may paycheck, they promises and they promises, nothing happened. I sue them, I take small court and I won, still not getting may money back, if you know or you wore this kind of situation, please let me know.
More and more O/O’s on western region hired CDL drivers, because they have too many speeding tickets or DUI, they pay one or twice and third time you got nothing, like me. In Los Angeles, California or around, look harder whom you work for.

Even after winning a judgement from a court (especially small claims) good luck getting the judgement paid!

If you are still driving for them...you can (there are legal requirements to accomplish this) through an attorney, get a "Mechanics Lien" on your equipment you have in your control. But it will mean you can't drive it...you will have to have it locked in a secure (to you) location where they can't send out a wrecker and tow it away.

Going through court is a two step process. First you get the judgement, then you go back to court to force payment of the judgement. Several years ago there was a city worker who won a judgement against the city of East St. Louis. They failed to pay so he went back to court and ended up foreclosing on city hall.
