If you have a nice chicken truck and trailer you can find niche advertisers but as others have stated, the graphics will be expensive. I know that I'd gladly let Goodyear paint my wagon in exchange for rubber every year. I'd even highlight the lettering on my goodyear sidewalls before picking up at a bridgestone plant. :biggrin_25519:

I can put you in a truck today if your interested! :biggrin_25525:
I think I've got the numbers worked out enough where I can make sure your head BARELY stays above water with all the payments and fees I'll charge you. They're just high enough that you still still see a small light at the end of the tunnel but not high enough to see that the light is a speeding train coming right at you. Then when it doesn't work out I'll get the truck back and cleaned up ready for the next sucker, woops I mean driver.:biggrin_2559:

LOL....that's funny, highlight the lettering. I was thinking an advertisement sign could be framed in where the sign is dropped into place. Then when it's time to change signs. Pull it out, drop another one in it's place. That way it doesn't become a perminent painted advertisement. And expensive to get off.

You think these cheap MFs are hauling freight on their own. They are forced to take the load cheap, even in the hot freight hub areas (Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston etc. I always have to sit in these cities for at least 4 to 5 days for a $2.0/ mile load). I have been here in New Orleans LA for almost a week now and I have not been able to book a load for $2.50 going towards Northeast. Even though no one likes to go to NJ NY CT MA etc,. The only reason which I can think of is that since I have some kind of tap on my phone. My calls never reach the actual brokers who are re-listing the loads but when I call for the load the answer is "the load has been covered". The only offers I have been getting is for $1.25/mile for Round trip average to Houston TX and back to New Orleans by some kind of mom and pop broker Dupre out of Lafayette LA(my cost per mile to run truck is $1.43/mile). You mean to tell me that these brokers are capable of running an under cover gang on their own? I seriously doubt that. They are getting help from some serious groups to know all your Biography and all.

Since when was their a difference between good profit and bad profit?

I mean, if your business is making money, then your business is making money(aka; capitalization or growth).

Not true. It was in the middle of the meltdown and definitely contributed to the severity.

I was leased onto a carrier at that time whose major contracts were mostly wood-intensive companies. That industry began it's decline near the beginning of 2008. The fuel crisis wasn't until the Summer of 2008.

And if fuel prices concern you, then you obviously have a faulty business model. Fix the problem. Don't just sit back and play the violin for yourself!
