Panhandlers at Truck Stops

They put up DON'T FEED THE BEARS signs in national parks because teaching animals to take handouts removes their natural instinct to provide for themselves. From what I've seen, people are no different. Once they get used to that handout, it's nearly impossible for them to go back to providing for themselves. But I think college educated wealthy elites understand this VERY well so remember.........
They OWN the government AND THEY'RE HERE TO HELP(themselves).

Best (worst?) one was the guy at the Spokane Petro. Came up to me with a broken fan belt and a story of how he just needed about 5 dollars so he could get it fixed and get back on the road to Yakima. His wife and kids were in the car (points over his shoulder to an indiscriminate point yonder) and they were out of money to get the fan belt. About the time I was telling him no rather hesitantly my husband came up and said, "I gave you a buck last week for that same fan belt...and the wife and kids weren't "here" then. What did you do? Go get them in Yakima and come back to break down here again? Get lost before I report you!" He disappeared FAST!

 

I was parked in a supermarket parking lot, and some guy walks over to me and begins to tell me how he is with his family, they had run out of gas, had no money and politely asked if I could spare a few dollars.

I gave him a $5.

Less then a week later, I was parked in the same lot and the exact same guy, came up to me with the exact same story...

I got upset, and confronted him; explaining that he approached me just days ago, with the same BS story -- he took off real quick.

I friggin' hate junkies -- times are tough for me too, I don't need to be handing out money to degenerates, trying to nickel and dime hustle people.

 

Those are Obama supporters.

 

i had a bum with a landstar cap a Bluetooth in his ear tell me that his engine blew and cat put him up in a hotel but he and his wife had not eaten for 15 days so could i give him some money to eat but don't tell his wife so i reply sure walk up to the office and his "wife" tells me my husband told me to get the money from ya

 

Oklahoma and Texas were real busy this past week with beggars as well as lizards.

 

what gets me they want money, i said okay , hop in and when i get too the rec u can help unload this tire load, then you get paid , they run fast after that, thats how they did it in the 30's, but what gets me is or ever notice that when they ask for money , there standing right there smoking a cigg, well if you didnt buy that 7 doller pack of ciggs you could bought alot of nice healthy foods for that, its not men ether i had women , tell me the baby needs diaper and need money or sex , my choice, un i dont think so, i had a wife at the time, or run out gas and there car is over by the building and i wish there a law for this, becuse the reg book says you need your break, well if im on my break i dont want too be bother, so first i call the truckstop mgr, get his number while sign the fuel slip, if no action in a hour then i call the police , why call the manger , becuse it private property

 

At the Loves in Las Vegas, I was at the urinal. Some bum wearing a Micky Mouse hat and a Grateful Dead T shirt came up to me and said he would "Blow" me for five bucks. As I clenched my fist to smack him, I suddenly thought, " Hey, Ive been on the road for months and I havn't seen the old lady for a loooooong time and nobody would be the wiser"....
