It is almost two years since you posted this garbage and Andy Stieva Trucking Ltd. is still in business and recently passed a DOT audit!
They are hard working folk trying to make a living. You might try the same!

Sometimes it's better to keep quiet. You just brought forward a sleeping post so everyone can see it!

Dumddumd quit being so nice, we don't want all of Ontario moving out here.
There's a few guys on here however that I would grladly to put to work or help them get work if they wanted to move. Some will never leave the motherland no matter what. -
Are there any companies up north willing to train newbies? I just got my class 1 learners. Will be working on my air brake endorsement real quick. OR do they all require experience?
Thanks -
You will need your air brakes before you can even think about your class 1.
If you are looking to get hired, you'd probably be hired as a swamper or dock worker first. Especially since you don't have your 1 yet. -
Wow! A perfect match for me! Temper tantrums! lol jk

Young fella, I left sask. and went to F ort Mac in 1964, stayed for 3 years until GCOS (Suncor) WAS COMPLETED. tHERE WAS NO ROAD TO Fort Mac at the time. 12 miles past Plamondon was just a pickup trail. Took 6 1/2 days to drive the chain drive Sterling from Edmonton. And that's with a D7 on the back of the 12 wide 16 wheeler. We moved just under 14, 000 truck loads to build that plant. Hell, I was towed on Franklin avenue by 2 D8's moving a vessel because the bypass hadn't even been built yet. Fort Mac was a great place to live, only 1200 people there at the time. after 3 years it had jumped to 6,500.
