Nope... It'll turn into JB Hunt soon and will be a public company soon enough. :biggrin_2552:

The last company I worked for had the new VORAD in them. No one told me about the auto braking when I took a new truck out while my local truck was getting fixed. At exit 4 on I-485 in Charlotte I had a car go across 4 lanes to get off of the exit. The truck slammed the brakes on while I was in the turn loaded with a top heavy load. It was all I could do to stay in the road. What made it worse is the car was on the ramp nowhere near me.

I remember back in 2000 them saying " we have set one billion dollars with a B aside to get new trucks and trailers." On the propaganda tapes they even said encase the economy slowed this was still going to happen. Well gas shot up then all the signs came down and it was announced no new trucks. The OC manager of Charlotte was giving the class for some crap we had to go to. He told everyone about the trucks were not going to be bought. I was the only driver there that had been there for more than a few months. I had been there for 5 years. I asked him what was all those signs, Dick Trickle, Don Schneider and everyone else on the tapes saying one billion crap. He stumbled then said it was the first he had heard of it. A week before when I left for vacation a sign in the cafeteria as you go back to see the STLs had a big B with the same stuff being said.

Until you see it I would not believe it.

That's going to be fun when you're rolling down a mountain and a car jumps in front of you and your brakes burn themselves out.

    Elvenhome21 and RickG Thank this.

I don't have any experience yet but if those auto braking trucks brake at an object within 500', that is almost two football fields. That truck
would be constantly braking I would imagine. I know it would where I live as these fools cut in front of you leaving only inches to spare.

They will be Cascadias. The ProStar was probably one of the "test" trucks to see which truck the wanted.
