The cute trucks can legally pull more weight than the fullsize trucks can, on the reefer side anyway. Ive pulled 49160 on my skateboard with a fullsize.

We have major corporations who have given us other people's business because of the lightweight tractor program. Used to see Marten and CRE in a lot of those shippers - not any longer.
That means there are more loads available for the guys in lightweights = more money.
The idea is to put nearly 49,000 lbs in a reefer. That may cut as many as 100 loads from a shipper over the course of a month, but we have more since all of the loads are ours. -
Hello everyone,
Thought I would drop a line here as I enjoy my last few days at home before I set off to Springfield. Can't wait to get out there and get rolling again. I drove a couple of years back in the early 90's and am jumping back in to the industry. Can't wait to see all my old friends at Sysco again lol. Pulled frozen Shrimp and seafood all over 48 and canada.
I will be arriving on Monday the 5th so if there any trainers gonna be open
around the 11th come down and scoop me up. Looking to get this 40k done and start turnin and earnin...and btw i smoke -
To get 49 grand in a reefer, you have to be trimming more than the sleeper; do you know where the rest of the weight savings comes from? Are they running the ultra-lights on the tankers too?

Weight savings on the trailer, wide singles, one fuel tank, ditch the passenger seat. It adds up.grenade668 Thanks this.

Hello all,
I just want to ask a question about what to expect to be prepared and stay a step ahead.
I'm leaving for Pittston PA in the morning to start orientation.going in as a c seat.
3 days orientation then out with a trainer for 40,000 miles.
If anyone can give me a run down I would greatly appreciate it!!!!
Thank you hope to meet some o you soon

well grenade the information i have is pretty much what is on Prime's website and what i have tracked down on this very forum. 4 day orientation and then 2-4 weeks with a trainer.once that's done you head out as a B seat for 30,000 miles with a driver trainer.then you get all all that done you are assigned a truck and off you go. again specifics about money and requirements are listed in this forum and on prime's website. personally myself i can't wait to leave tomorrow and get this ball rolling.grenade668 Thanks this.
