Quick question about land stars load board......I gave up the laptop in the truck several months back and now use a tablet for the internet and such. That shouldn't be a problem to use a tablet instead of a laptop should it? Supposedly I can still print with it for permits and whatnot, but I haven't yet tried. My old printer finally died, so I need to get a new one anyway. Thanks in advance for any info on using a tablet.

Hey guys. I'm thinking of buying a computer log program before switching over to Landstar. Does Landstar allow use of the Drivers Daily Log program and if not is there a approved computer logging system I can buy?

Last I knew Landstar was installing EOBR's in all new BCO's tractors. I could be wrong bout this.

Wow! That makes me think about L/S then. I just don't want something keeping track of me like that. I don't mind running legal, bur what about those times your 10 minutes from your home or a shipper/consignee and you just ran out of your 14 or 11?

As I said, I'm not sure about this at all... don't take my word for it. Talk to the BCO's on here.milskired Thanks this.

If you're that close to home and can't make it, then hopefully you can find somewhere to park and have someone come get you. Then return the next day to finish up. It's an adjustment, but not that big of a deal. -
What is a EOBR?
