At LJ Kennedy, and other jobs, I have always had the most problems with Freightliners and Volvo's. Internationals and Macks seem to be more reliable. Chrome don't getcha home.

American Trucker -
Don't you mean Lone Star's 379 ??? :smt064

I can't argue that one! petes are nice, i actually ran foodservice in a 359! you wouldn't think that was a good fit, because of the turning radius, but they sure got the job done, coffin sleeper and all! -
I love peterbilts, and I have driven some REALLY nice trucks, big hammers (600hp) and lots of chrome....but as far as beating the living #### out of a truck and it keep going your not going to beat a Mack.

I see tons of Macks pulling tankers and flatbeds all throughout NC/VA/WV/OH which is where I run the most.

i am not picky as long as it gets the job done
SHC Thanks this. -
That is the most important thing. If it stays on the road and out of the shop then I will take just about any truck. Sure I like my long hood and chrome stacks, but if I could find a truck that never needed to have work done on it, I'd take it, even if it was made out of rainbow colored play dough.

i will pass on the chrome tho not chrome crazy -
Oh come on, chrome is great if u can keep the dang salt off it.
