Pretty sure it's just employment verification. Otherwise I would have heard about it from my HR person.

 

Legally, all they can ask for is dates employed. they aren't supposed to ask about why you left and your previous employer isn't supposed to volunteer anything else.

 

yes i heard that , and wonder about that , what they ask, or is there some web site they go too too pull up your history with last job, like a dac or something, this job i have now game them almost 5 years and everyday i go too work its always something with her, so i already know im not rehire by her ,the manager ,just a small mom and pop type store, but the owner really likes me, hes always give me stuff like feee movie pass, becuse im working hard at my job and everyboby else is screwing around.

 

Well, think of it this way, since you are new to trucking, it really doesn't matter much why you are leaving your other job. All Alice is looking for is that the dates on your app are correct. Once you are in the industry, the large companies will go by your DAC, or whatever they call it this week, to verify employment among other stuff.
