    Do any of you have any experience with an expungement? I got in some trouble a few years back but I was able to get it expunged. Do I still have to tell USX that I had a felony on my record? or should I just keep my mouth shut about it? I don't want to lie to them but I also don't want to screw myself by telling them something they didn't need to know. thanks for any help!!

    You might want to talk to a Lawyer in your state as every state is different on how they handle expungement's and how long it takes for them to disappear or not. Some states put the expungement on your record but that's it not other facts.

    Thanks for your help. I went down to the police station today and had them do a background check on me and it came back clean as a whistle

    That may also depend on what kind of check they did on you.

    If it was NCIC, you are in good shape.

    I checked and it was NCIC. Everything is starting to look a little better!

    Check the clerk of court in the county where your record was expunged. NCIC misses a lot of things.
