all I was looking for was a secure place to park my trailer when I want to drop it, loaded or unloaded in Erie Pa! Prime is really getting hard on this. We are not suppose to leave them in a truck stop, ie... TA, Petro............
All I am looking for is is a secure parking place. If you have nothing but smart ### replies I would rather you not reply.
All I need is secured parking space.

ussaly at my last place, i was told too drop a empty in a truckstop, then move tractor over next spot and go home, that what said on my q-quail com, this way if they need a trl , they can come and get it, if they need it, yes makes hard coming off home time , too sit mayby anthor two days looking for a trl or go too shipper and wait on load too finish up loading .:biggrin_2558::biggrin_25513::biggrin_25524:

as hard core as you are about Prime I can not believe your post about my question on trailer parking. No I do not listen to the CD's from Prime safety. I have no problem with running fr Prime.I make very good money with them. But, with all of the trailer thefts and their policy on "secured parking" I posted a simple post for all of us to start listing secured parking when it it needed. Thanks for your valuable input.
If you are ever in Shreveport, La and need to drop your trailer loaded or not Pro Truck/Fright Liner will accomidate you. Just an FYI.

UHHHMMM... The answer to your question is a Qualcomm message away. Whether in Erie, PA or Barstow, CA, you ask your FM and he tells you where to park the truck / trailer. As U2 tried to point out to you, a public list of where Prime parks its trailers is a terrible idea. How about we all list our home addresses on the "What's your 20?" forum? Perhaps you should listen to those CDs!

Get up with your FM. Between your FM and RA they can find you a place to leave a trailer. Might take some time, but they will find you a place to securely leave it while youre at home.

Just drop it at the T/A or Pilot....then send your FM a msg and tell him/her where THEIR trailer is OR you might want to ASK him/her where they want THEIR trailer dropped as has been stated numerous times in preceeding posts. Good luck!

Can i ask you under what circumstances your fleet manager is asking you to find parking?

If its scheduled hometime it's your FMs responsibility to find a secure location for the trailer.

If its a "I'm passing thru with a load and I want to spend the night" situation, the I wouldn't put it past your FM making things difficult.

FM are notorious for making things difficult on driver in these "passing thru"'the house situations. Even going so far as to skip loads who routes pass through a drivers home area.

Can't tell you how many times I have met drivers that say they don't even get a whiff of their house unless they are scheduled to go home. even though there maybe 3 customers within 20 miles of the driver's house.
