I talked with safety today and I was told its bmi( or)neck to be a requirement for the sleep apnea test. Unlucky for me as my neck was only 15 1/2 inches at the doctors office. I guess it really doesn't matter because Im scheduled to take the test anyways but it does kinda suck that I'm wasting time for something I don't need or shouldn't be required to do.

Anyways I was just putting this info out there so people can know what I know and if Jbs orientation is in your future make sure you actually see the measurements. When I was in orientation I was told my bmi was high andddd my neck was to big (over 17 inches)but there's no way I lost a inch and a half on my neck in 5 months. O well it is what it is.

From what i can tell, i don't think that it's JBS that is making a big deal with the sleep apnea test. It looks more like the drivers that are making a big deal out of it on this tread.A few years back i saw this coming and i felt that i might have it. I put on some weight so i went and got tested and have sleep apnea, No big deal, i am trying to loose weight and get rid of it. Look at the weight of the current drivers out there, it's a bad deal, thats why the medical profession is jumping all over it, back in the day you would not really see that, all were skinny dudes that could drive like hell out here, must have been all that " California Coffee " back then. I'm wondering if any of you that drive for JBS run out of Pilgrims Pride in Mt Pleasant, Tx? I'm betting on a real long shot here that I can find an old friend of mine, Bob Lubonski. I don't have his truck number or even his user name, only that he's living in Mt Pleasant. He's 46 and has red hair ... like that helps 100%. Like I said, it a real long shot but better than no shot at all. Thanks for any help!

And yet JBS doesn't see the problem with that statement?
