Going for my class 3 road test with airbrakes. Any tips? How picky are they on the air brake pre trip? Do they just want see you do the pretrip or do they ask you what happens if your blow a line etc. On the truck inspection check any tips on what to point out?

Good luck with the test.
It ( a test ) always boils down to the human factor, and the common sense factor. Hopefully you get a 'human' with 'common sense' that tests you ..... and isn't having a bad day at work either. Follow the book. Have you read it ? Read it again. And again. Then again.
I've had 'tests' in NS, NB, PEI, Ont, AB, Germany, the UK, and the US. Use your head. I've also been teaching on and off since 1988. If someone says to you: 'What happens if you blow an air line ?" ..... Then you say: "Well Sir/Ma'am, I'd obviously have to get to the side of the road as quickly and as safely as possible and determine the cause of the problem if at all possible. As I am not a qualified mechanic, and if the problem requires a service call, then I would turn on my four way flashers and deploy my safety triangles and/or fuses (flares)."
What else can you do or say ?
They will likely to be more interseted in you book knowledge of the air brake system. Then your driving ability follows. Relax. THEN Read it all again.
Let us know how it goes .... again, Good Luck.
