If I'm remembering right, they were 4 1/2. Dang, I can't remember. I know that I spent really good money for them. I bought all 4. 2 for the front and 2 for the back in the sleeper. We actually ordered them through and Audio Visual place here in town. They were not cheap. LOL

But, it really improved the quality of the sound. :yes2557::biggrin_25525:

IIRC, they were 4", just like my Western Star. In the FLD you'll have clearance problems with the tweeter on the new speaker and the factory grilles. I just took the grilles out of mine.

I know the backs were bigger than the fronts. All in all we paid about $340 for all the way around. But upgrading to sat radio the other ones were so tinny sounding. This is much better. LOL

I just wanted to give you all a big old thanks. This prompted me to check on the speakers in my WS while I'm waiting to get loaded. I just coughed up $60 shipped on amazon for some Infinity Kappa 4" coax, probably the best speakers for the price that I found. I used to sell truckloads of them and Boston Acoustics back in the day. The same speakers are $150 at Crutchfield.
    Here's the Amazon link if you're interestedwww.amazon.com/Infinity-429I--Inch-2-Way-Speaker/dp/B0018SH4TS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1331568585&sr=8-4

These are coming from Cartoys, a big mobile dealer out West. I actually know a couple people(management and VP types) that went to work for them when my old company that was bought out by Tweeter went belly up. I'm not worried.

Oh my, that just looks horrible. I will probably replace the ones inside the door as well. One I get the panel off that is......who's ever idea it was to install them with regular Phillips head screws was an idiot!!!
