    I got a 2007 Columbia with a Detroit 60 series and 10 speed trans.

When I'm going down the road at highway speed or accelerating it sounds like my Turbos going in and out. I hear it wind up and I have plenty of power then ill hear it cut out and I lose power. I lose power drastically enough to where it feels like I hit the brakes even though the fuel pedal is being used. It only does it for a second at a time but it happens multiple times per minute when accelerating, and only a few times per day while cruising.

Also I'm having to dump a gallon of oil into it at least once every 4-5 days and my coolant is slowly disappearing every day but I have no leaks on the engine or on the ground. The coolant goes down about half an inch per day. I topped it off to the cold Max line and it stayed there for about two days then started decreasing again.

My truck was in the shop about a week ago to have my radiator fixed and my engine fan fixed.

The reason your truck is acting like that is because something with EGR system is messed up. Could be wear your losing your coolant as well.

Could could spend thousands to try and repair it while keeping the egr or you could spend much less and get rid of it while making your truck run better at the same time.

Well its a company truck, and to get the terminal to replace the egr is like pulling teeth with tweezers from what I've been told by other roehl drivers. Its got 716,xxx miles on it. Our hone terminal told me its the original engine and has never had an overhaul. But when you hit 700,000 your supposed to be on the list to have your truck sold and get a new one. I like my '07, I just wished it wasn't nickel and diming me(well the company). Id like a new truck but I'm not thrilled to get a dpf, def truck.
