    I can't remember the exact location, but when I run 64 from Beckley to Virginia I usually go down that joker. There is flashing light on the signs with the truck speed limit. You cant miss it lol.

    Bring the mountains on .i like them .it separates experience & non experienced ,don't worry it will come to you when you get more experience.mountains will test your skills and endurance .just think when you tackled the worst of them .the others will be a snap .

    Brain fart lol yeah seems like its 10 miles long... Been awhile since I've been thru there i just watch the time lol 30 minutes between tolls usually

    So 3rd gear in a 10 6th in a 13 on 7%? Just curious.

    Hills don't bother me i come off 1 lower than i think i shoold or 1 up from whatever i climb it. like you say its easier to go up than down

    So what gear would be best for an 8% grade with 48K on the wagon and you have 6 on 4 tranny?.....

    Depends on how strong your jake is. For my kw I had grossing 80k and a nine speed I would have used 6th around 25 mph

    On 6 or 7% I used 7th at 35 to 40 mph
