Could also be a rookie driver and not sending in proper loaded calls, stop offs on the satellite. That's how trailers get lost. Happens to us all the time.

 

ya they can file with the BBB. But that is it.
The BBB is not a enfoce angency, they only keep track of bad reports of companies/ services.

 

No doubt....but get beyond that and get mad. How do you know truck was seen at Michaels? Who told you that ? Did you call agent? Did you call YOUR insurance carrier? What did Best Way tell you?

Are you sure goods are not in new house? In agents warehouse in Vermont? You need to know this.....

Usual low end scam is to load your stuff and carry to new home then hold hostage for more money not outright theft. Stupid driver not checking in is possible but unlikely. What is possible is driver quit and parked truck at truck stop or something but that's on Best Way. Why do you believe driver ditched trailer? Somebody tell you that?

Put power in your corner and file theft claim with your insurance carrier. They have resources you don't and they wont be stonewalled especially if they're on the hook for serious cash.
