I can't believe this garbage is still being said. They do not pro rate it. If you quit the day you get your cdl or on day 364 its full price and they immediately send it to collections who adds another 50% to it. Plus they slam your credit hard. Just a warning do not believe everything you are told.
-
Idk about you but a year isn't a lot. They help you get your CDL, train you, house you and pay you with no deductions or pay back for the tuition and they pay well for just starting out! I've been out on the road with a trainer for 2 weeks now and FFE has been great to me and my trainer is awesome. They have done everything they promised. If you can't buckle down, cut the crap and be safe then yeah, don't apply, this isn't the place for you. If you can though it's a great place!

If you run in the truckload division you will be out of the Lancaster terminal (south dallas)
If you run LTL rover its lancaster as well.
LTL regional, local is the only way to run out of a ltl terminal. -

LOL you obviouly dont understand how prorating works, driver.... yes if you drop out the day you get your cdl, you havent completed enough to have a prorated price.... Dont mistake what i say as an attack on you... but you should have looked that stuff up, before signing a binding contract, and secondly im guessing your a younger person that hasn't learned how the world works and you want to blame others for your ignorance (willful lack of knowledge, and no im not calling you stupid)
regardless
We are at the MGM Grande... waiting for a few of our class members to pass the cdl driving test..... and yeah orientation is absolute death by powerpoint.... whelp... off to the hot tub to relax while i still can

thats a negative.... the testers walk out... and they get your instructor(s) (most likely Edd & Lee) to turn on the lights and honk the horn... and thats it.. the actual driving test is straightline backing, parallel, and then driving a course.... altho the permit test you do a pretrip section... just multiple choice easy thingsLast edited: Mar 21, 2012

We had to do the lights, horn and static air brake test, then Texas parallel park and driving. The pretrip is a part of the "written" portion and the physical is done by the school the first day, so if you make it to the dps for the test then you have nothing to worry about. Trust me, it's the stress of worrying that gets you more than anything else. Period. Chill out, take the night before off completely and chill then do it. You wouldn't be there if the school didn't think you could do it!

thanks to all of you for the help.
im all ready to go to school, almost. sandi said everything looks good on the background check but my birth certificate is 45 years old and i didnt realize what bad shape it is in, you cant read it and is falling apart so i have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get a new one mailed to me. sandi told me to call her next monday to tell her whether i got it or not.
i also emailed sandi my work history yesterday, im worried about that because ive had 8 jobs since i have been here and have not worked in the last year out of the last 3 years i have been here in Pa, sandi didnt seem to like that, IDK. i hope that me being at yellow in Ca. for 24 years helps. ive had mostly temp jobs, the area i live in Pa. is really rural and there just isnt anything good work wise and no more than 10 an hour.
ill be happy when i get my bus ticket..... -
Well Mr smart ### my friend quit 9 months into the year. he has a $8k bill from collections through ffe. He gets his mail at my house so I see them every time he comes by.

Ok, one more post. I can tell you it's not pro rated at all. I had 11 months and left. One week later got a letter saying I owed $4500. So no it's not pro rated.
