We haul our own freight out which is garbage bags & plastic sheeting. Then FAK brokered loads to get us back to one of our locations.

do they allow passengers? I live right off of park row in arlington. I think this could be a good fit for me.

They have a NO PASSENGER policy. I used to live on Billy B Ave.

This week is going to be lack luster.

I'm currently waiting for a load assignment from our Cottage Grove,MN facility. Been empty since yesterday evening & finally received a call from outbound dispatch about 15 mins ago. The only thing left for departure later today was a 4 stop mom/pop load finalling in Medford,OR. next week. Not a bad offer, but looking at the weather makes me not want to go there. Plus I want to go back home asap to get my regular truck. So I said I would wait till tomorrows loads come available to see if I would have better selection.

As it stands I have 1612 miles & 4 extra stops since leaving Saturday. Hopefully a good run towards the house will increase this weeks productivity. What can I say, can't win'em all.

Just got finished with orientation at Poly. I'm currently waiting on outbound to call with a load through the house to pick up my personal belongings. Overall, I got a great feeling from the people here in the home office. Procedures are somewhat different than at Crete, but it's not anything that I can't get used to doing.

This week won't be too bad after all. I'm currently on my way back to Grand Prairie. I will finish the week with 2600+ miles & 5 stops, which will give a gross paycheck of over $1400.

I spent 8 hours at the Mall of America yesterday & was very impressed. I went there about 15 years ago & the only thing I remembered was Lego Land. Now there is an indoor amusement park & an awesome food court. I spent most of my time just walking to get exercise. Looking forward to going back.

Is it true they have truck parking at Mall of America? I've heard that, but never yet had the opportunity to check it out.

Yes, and lots of it. BUT...no over night parking allowed. Take exit 2A off of I494 (24th St/Ave) goo south to the second light turn right (this street runs directly in front of the mall), go to first light turn right into large parking area. Truck & trailer allowed.

Alrighty, everything sounds too good right now. But my question for y'all that are already working there. I live a little east of Springfield MO and an email back from recruiting said they would consider me in that area, guessing probably out of GO up to I44 to get home on way to somewhere. I've heard different things about hometime which for me is worth a sacrifice in pay. What is their real hometime policy, heard anywhere from 1-7 days, guessing based on how long out. Right now I run 11 out then home for 3, basically every other weekend. Is that achievable at Poly or not?

The answer to your last, & probably most important to you, question is...not consistently. If you like your current schedule I suggest you stay put. The only drivers that have some consistent weekends at home are those who live in the DFW area & know which loads to chose.
