Look here are the facts:

1. Insurance is Free for me and my whole family. I can't tell you how much money that saves me. Especially with 6 kids.

2. I get to run how I want. I'm currently running Dedicated GM. (General Mills) I get home about twice during the week and off weekends. My miles are the same every week 2862. I can set my pay check to that. My gross is 1058.94 every week. Except for the winter, I don't hit my fuel bonus then. Then it drops down to 1001.70.

3. There is NO BULL ####! I come to work, do my job, and go home. I don't need my dispatcher to hold my hand or be my friend.

4. I really love my Compliance Bonus. As long as I don't get any log book violations, I get a $800 bonus every three months. I always hit that bonus to total $3400 for the year.

Those are the facts and I really don't give a #### about what any of you people say on here. Don't come to work here, I don't care!! Just more miles for me and my family.

As a matter of fact I do. I get $1000 for every driver referral. So as long as the driver I recruit puts my driver number down, I get a huge driver referral bonus. SO YEA, I DO AS MUCH AS I CAN!! Be sure to put me down J996

The health Insurance is his big thing he has a little 1 and a wife .. Is it good coverage

The home time he's looking for is at least 2 days or 1.5 a week and maybe a drive by during the week

You basically get to choose your home time we do not have a forced dispatch. We're on the same lanes all the time so it just depends on what lanes you choose. If you want weekend home time we usually get home one or twice during the week for a 10 hour break, plus off on the weekends. There are local position also but that depends on where you live. The insurance is north american it's really good insurance the copay is only 35 dollars at the doctors office. The company pays not only for me but my whole family and I have 3 boys. My pay average is about 1300 per week. That will depend on what lanes you end up on. Local guys make around 800 per week. Dedicated and regional guys make between 1000 to 1500 per week. I have been with Sharkey for over 5 years. I have always been paid on time and they have treated me fairly. The problems you have here are the same problems you have everywhere else. They no longer offer the 1000 dollar guarantee pay, but the sign on bonus is legit and paid out quickly if I remember right. Those complaining probably do not have anything good to say about anywhere they have worked.

 

your so full of crap i've worked here for 4 years and if your got it that good you must be skleeping with re dhimself. and the insurance, is good as long as your wife dosen't go to work and her birthday is before yours,then she has to buy insurance through her work if it is offered to her and any dependents, also they run trucks that have over 800,000. miles on them(mine has over 900,000) and jack has only bought 50 new ones in the last 2 years, all go to the fish haulers. no retirement what so ever and the shop treats you like the dirt you drive in on when you have to come to quincy every 30 days. how do you sleep at night telling these people all this crap. average check is around 700-800 before taxes.

 

Anything new on Sharkey or Sisbro? Does anyone know what the take home pay is on average and what the home time would be for someone living in the Kansas City area? Any info is appreciated.
