Leaving the truck in gear just leads to a problem like the OP stated. If the parking brakes can't hold it you have a much bigger problem.

One of my weekly deliveries is where I have to back up and park on a 8-10% grade hill, that is the only time I put the truck in gear when I park as an extra precaution...Other than that, never...Is that bad?...

Actually, this depends on the temp agency. I hired on at two of them myself, and they run DAC on drivers. I think even "Manpower" uses DAC, as they very often have driving jobs.

SO if it is a driver's temp agency, I would highly suspect the are subscribers to DAC.

I work for Werner, this was just a temp account for me. I got put on a 90 day probation, but I'm never accepting another temp account. I'm about to go on the Dollar General account next month.

Would you have done the same thing if it was not a temp account?
