No it's the weekend y'all know how it is

Have you at least found a place that can bring you a fork lift so that Monday you can unload yourself if it comes to it?
At the cost of time/fuel, I wouldn't be having any of it.
AND I would post up who the broker and consignee is to warn others of the practices.
Are these new or old, used ties. -
Take it to homedepot and act like it is Homedepot material and get out real fast. You empty problem solved .Dont forget to tell the broker where the load is.

When the consignee refuses a load, my standard operating procedure is to bill the broker the same rate to bring it back, as they are paying to bring it there. The only exception is if they find an alternate location to unload in the near vicinity. When a grocery company in the Northeast refused a delivery of their own store brand soda, I charged them for the original delivery, bringing it back to the plant, and redelivering it again, effectively triple the original rate, even though I only went 10 miles down the road and waited till the next morning to redeliver.
Did the consignee sign refused? If so, I'd just return it to shipper and charge the broker double. Wait till you get the load conf to unload at shipper. You need to play hardball. Another option is to find a public warehouse to unload and store it, and let them pay the charges and pick up their own product. BTW, what were you thinking hauling a $400 load?? Those are never worth the time involved.VisionLogistics, Motownfire, Hardlyevr and 4 others Thank this. -
Okay so what's the scoop
