Not for the driver, but workmens compensation is based on WAGES. Therefore, employee.

How many drivers like to find out at the end of the year, that what they made is taxable and no taxes paid in?

    I am in Saskatoon tonight.

2007 Dodge Quad cab. It has 414,000 miles on it. Bought it when it had 26 miles on it in June of 07.

Roadmedic-is going into Canada and back a hassle? I'm going to work for a transporter that pays a bonus for doing Canada.

If the person doing the PARS is competent and will check on them, it is usually not a problem. We had one that screwed every one up. At Quality when I was there, one really could not do it and the others could.

Canada crossing is dependent on the port. North Portal is a training base and they try to be letter perfect.

If you have never been arrested, never had a dui, basically clean living, you will have no problem. You will have to go through immigration.

Coming back again depends on the port. US compared to Canadian is basically that they are bigger pains in the rear. Like to flaunt it at some of the ports. Most of the time, I have no problems.

I have went to Canada so much, they always want to know last time and port. Expected time in Canada and all.

I try to only go there every two weeks. Just do not care to be up there.

It is higher cost. Higher Fuel. Higher food. Nicer people.

I always do the PARS myself . It's very simple . Livingston is our broker . I have copies of their fax cover sheet and my carrier gave me plenty of labels with bar codes .
