I was getting decent mileage for a while, but was running flat areas of country. Can't get mileage in hills, keep getting loads that are tail heavy on trailer even in 12th hole.
-
I get around 7.2 as an average.

just back to update this, went thru 2 freightliner shops, 1 detroit shop, and amazingly the prime shop, all told me that the truck i had (FL columbia l/w) will not get 7+mpg. After making alot of noise about crap fuel mileage, i was allowed to hit these shops to find out why. The stats on the truck were good over the last 1 year period, all rpm's 1300 or less, ran mostly in the 54-56mph range, no hard brakes and cruise used as much as possible. They saw no reason as to why i should not get 7+, but they wanted to keep me in the truck. well, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, so i made the argument that its unfair and borderline crooked to offer a carrot on a stick of extra money, and then give me equipment that wont even come close to what they require. That very same day they gave me a brand new KW T660 l/w. 7+mpg is now quite easy.

Nice truck! Enjoy!

Interior pics of T660 lightweight please?
Wonder how it compares to L/W Cascadia. -
Gotta be a lot less space in a T660... the front of the cab is narrow with very little headroom compared to most trucks.archangelic peon Thanks this.

I was in one when I first came to Prime. It is more roomy. You get back into the sleeper and can stand up. I am wondering if they got the APU situation taken care of? I saw a guy clearing out of one and he said an APU could not be mounted on the truck..... Anyone???? Beuhler???
archangelic peon Thanks this. -
So then if you had a choice it would be either the prostar or the t660 I take it

Jarge, what motor is in that T660?
