Female Student Needs Honest Opinions

Congrats on picking a reputable school and a program with substantial class hours. It will definitely come in handy. You have an awesome attitude and tough skin you will be just fine darlin!

Yes, she has improved a lot. First season she didn't even know how to adjust her brakes.

 

Careful with that "thick skin" thing...I was told by a broker who made LOTS of promises ($70k/year for drivers, 12 on/12 off 6 days per week, etc...that I "needed to have a thick skin" to be a driver...well, I had a thicker one than he did, and every time he made another promise, I took him up on it, because I figured he was full of it...I was right, his skin is thin, I got let go because he didn't hold any of the other drivers to his hard and fast "rules" and I broke one.
Did I mention I was the ONLY female driver under his authority? It happens, but it's how you handle it that matters. To date any flat tires or damages to his truck are due to causes other than me.

 

Will put this simply dont take no #### dont give any #### and dont give a #### what the other guy thinks of you drivers around you will be on one side of the barb wire fence or the otherjust keep in step to the beat of that marching band inside your head....

 

I think Rose would be a good trainer for you if her company is a good match for you. Whatcha think Rose?

 

i train each student on a trainee by trainee basis. lol lilsister seems to have a good head on her shoulders and the spunk to make it through. I would be honored to help her on to her next level of driving. as for jbs being a good fit? well only she can tell you that. not every company is for everyone or we would all be working for one company and there would be no competition. I am here if she ever needs to pick my brain. with or with out a trainer i am willing to help. no matter what company you work for. that goes for any one out here who may have some questions about driving and driving safety. i dont know how to send a personal message on this forum or i would give you my phone number to contact.
