    My s/o is driving OTR refer division, at this time, for his company. He doesn't come through our area like he did when he was doing dry loads. If he was driving dedicated or regional, what companies let you get dispatched from home? He is two hours away from the terminal. He can't drive his truck home, as of yet. Do you think this may be negotiable? Thanks!

    EVERYTHING is negotiable regardless of what they tell you. I'd just tell them that if they don't let me take th truck hoe I will have to begin looking for a new job. What happens from there depends on what kind of company they are and how valuable an employee he is. If he is a new driver then I wouldn't hold my breath

    you may have your sig other look inot LTL work.

    I get my work calls on my cell at home - usually right as I start dinner or am in the shower.... hehehhehe:biggrin_25523:

    Thanks Medicineman & latanea. I think he is going to talk with someone. He's also considering local if the winter driving looks to be a bit much. Although, there'd be winter driving local here too.
