It could have a couple diffrent hubs. Most E models came with air applyed hortons but there are some Kyser air relised out there. Most likely its horton which are pretty easy to rebuild.
The rebuild kit comes with directons that are quite easy to follow. The hardest part is getting the hub out of the truck. If your not to sure pull the hub and take it to a dealer they should bill you about a hour to rebuild it. -
Its a horton. Looks like it should come out without pulling the rad.
-
One other important thing to check on a older Pete. Spray the hose from the Fan soinoid to the hub with soapy water. If it leaks you need to replace it. That hose is the biggest cause of hub failures on older Petes. It leaks quiet and causes reduced pressure to the hub causing slippage and a build up of heat. I've saw people rebuild their hubs and have them go bad in short order because of this.

you will need a regulator to apply air durring rebuild. The kit will probably cost u about 500.
-
fan hub will come out without removing rad. just take supports loose and let it lean forword just watch ac lines and wires.
-
depending on what year truck the older hortons are easy to rebuild don't need any air to rebuild. the newer ones you do and are a little more complicated but read the directions and it will go smoothly.
-
For anyone with a newer air to release horton check the price on a reman hub before you pull it apart. Generaly they are within $50 of the full rebuild kit.

yes i forgot about that. mine was $46 more for a reman compared to a rebuild kit. went the reman way.
