Don't want to hijack thread, but I HATE d&h! Yeah, if everything goes like it should, you spend less time on line 4, but it is not unusual at all to spend an hour doing a d&h, and then end up with a bad trailer needing time in a shop.
I'd rather open the doors, back into the dock, and let the receiver do their thing. Keep the trailer that was OK when I hooked up to it, or especially keep the trailer that I spent some hours with in the shop.
YMMV. -
Alot of company's claim D&H.But what they mean is D......Wait.....and then.....H.

or...this
Drop , find the only empty on the entire customer lot, hook to it, then be told by the rent a guard that if you take that , they'll call the sheriff. and then actually follow thru with it. Then have the sheriff tell you either unhook or go to jail, from hooking to a trailer with your compnay name on it.emt892 Thanks this. -

Less To Love
Sorry, could not resist.
Personally, I would go nuts driving the same route every day (I know, I ran dedicated for 6 months, and that was way too much for me.)
I know the money is good, and a lot of drivers love it, but it is not for everyone. Hey, "different strokes", right?emt892 Thanks this. -
CRST does mostly DH but there also mostly team.
