This is Rogerd here. Wanted to let you drivers out there know that the new name for Tetreau Transport is now, Network 1 Transportation. You guessed it... all the same folks working in Bad Axe, MI. with a new name. Lyn Tetreau, Rick Tetreau, Scott Pommerville(sp?),Russ Parks Jr. and the rest of the same old crew. Russell Parks Sr. got out. Can we assume that they are up to the same old business practices? Why did they change the name? Did you know the small claims amount in Fl. is 5K? The small claims in MI. is only 3K. I am sure this amount has not escaped these business boys in that office.
Scott called me up the other day to see if we could come to an agreement on what they owe me, using the settlements they sent me, showing clearly what they owe me, done by them. He informed me that some of my other remarks and complaints against Tetreau Transport may get me into legal trouble. He also told me that when I returned trailer to the yard in Lakeland Fl. it was in need of repairs, and that I didn't inform the viewers. So, to be fair, I did return the trailer and it needs three tires and I used a small amount on the brakes. The trailer was also dirty. I was not happy to return it in that condition and would gladly have replaced the tires and cleaned it if I had recieved any of the money I was owed. This amount is $6,600.00 dollars approx. I did however return it to the requested drop yard for inspection. You know to date they still have not asked for any of the repair costs. To date they still have not sent me my final settlement statement or any pay for the last three loads that I should be paid for.
So there you go. Stay away from these folks at the new company, with the new name.
Companies Like Network 1 Transportation are the reason why so many owner ops and the trucks they drive are stranded and ruined. Shame. Shame.

The list goes on..Translogic was also one of their names. Why does the DOT not look at these miserable cusses? They can't get enough of dingin truck drivers on cell phones, meanwhile these guys are committing crimes from Florida to Michigan. Fraudulant changes of contracts to theft from drivers pay settlements. We really should learn how they are doing this and by stock, if available, cause these guys are untouchable.

that is a scare tactic they use threating with slander lawsuit. tell them you have claims for everything you have said about them and have other drivers to back up. Hell Yea tell them you want to go to court let them explain their under hand business to the judge.

Just wanted to give you folks an update. Mr. Tetreau called me the other day and we have reached an agreement that may save us both some time. He said he will start making payments this week on our agreed to terms. Once again, the guy is personable, in a different time I think I could work with him. He told me that I (me) am owed money, and that he wants to make that right. I don't care what circle you're from, it's respectable for someone to say that, pretty sure he means it too.
One of the things I know is that just because a driver complains on one of these forums, does'nt mean they have a valid complaint, sometimes it's just whining. Sometimes a driver FEELS like they have been screwed and are owed but have no proof. Maybe that same driver begged for some up front money, got it, then could'nt pay it back, now he blames the company.
I also understand some of the business aspects, such as difficulty collecting debts from people we have done work for, like shippers and receivers. I don't believe that it's just the drivers getting screwed. Pretty sure the companies do too.
I will give no personal information at all to anyone, so don't ask.
So it looks as though we have come to a resolution, and I hope to see some returns for the effort. Will keep you posted.

They never did send my 1099 either. I will just go through my settlements and do the math, really no big deal, just like i have always had to do being self employed.

Now I am truly worried. I recently sign a contract with them in Florida. There have been issues from the very beginning. They tell the a job pays one price and, after delivery, tell me no it's x.xx price. I just got back home from my first run with them. They had another job for me but said they couldn't tell me how much it pays until I pick up the load. Wtf?? Now, I'm thinking about terminating the contract, but it seems like they want to nickel and dime me. The contract says I have to give a month's notice, what kind of jobs are they going to give me if I tell them that O'm going to leave in a month? I'm just frustrated. This is my first attempt as an OTR owner/operator. In the past, I've worked as a driver. The only other owner/operator experience I have is with my dump truck, and that seems to be a completely different type of business.

Make this company die....
summerland Thanks this. -
Interesting their still in Florida, I heard they fled from there. Incognitus they HAVE to give you original copies of your load sheets by LAW! ask them for it. We never got one and they refuse to give us one. Several members said they were skimming on loads and im incline to agree. Look at all the threads on tetreau transportation on them.
