Would Trucking be a good option for me?

I'm not saying you can't do it, I'm asking can you do it? If not find another career. Because you won't last very long if you can't.

 

Oh and lets not forget those steel mill docks where u got like .025 clearance on either side driver you better be #### good at what you do or they'll chew yer arse up an spit you out. Never happened to me just letting you know what yer up against before you throw your life savings away on trucking school and empty BS promises. Saying when you get to the dock you got about 4 seconds to show them union pricks how good u is driver. 5 seconds and you lose you window of opportunity. maybe camp out another night till u get it right

 

Something like that. 13 years was long enough to get a feel for how ####e is in this biz. Last company went belly up all the while promising everything was cool. In fact they went so far as to offer spilled freight to drivers to sell on the side so as to keep us on. Didn't stop the repo man from taking my truck at Petro tho.

 

Yes I do. tell recruiters to go fukk themselves and the pony they rode in on. Only deal with real company driver managers.

 

Smart man. Maybe law would be a better career for you. But listen, my friend. To become a trucker is almost the same as to become a lawyer. Your first investment should be a quality phone recording device. trust me when I say they'll F u six ways from sunday if u don't
