You have an SCR as well as the DPF?

As far as I know...You could buy a 2020 model that runs on air and CARB will require you upgrade in '30.....CARB as well as the State, just want our money...Greedy bastids.....:biggrin_25510:

Well....The rig is in the shop....Let's see what other damage the EGR system has done this go around.....:biggrin_2556:

I know that the Lemon Laws don't apply to trucks.....But does anyone know if we have any recourse for this Bull Sheyat?

Thanks to CARB...The EPA and their mandates.....I'm losing $700 a day in revenue thanks to this failed EGR system they require us to have.....

You don't have to go to Commiefornia to deal with this horse pucky.

It's BECAUSE of California is why all new diesel trucks are being produced this way.

Hell, like someone said earlier, it probly won't be long until the gooberment takes Cali's BS and makes it a national law so even more so, you don't have to stay out of that state to not feel the wrath of CARB.

EPA based most of it's regs on what CARB started back in the 70's....When Moonbeam began his first term and appointed Nichols to CARB....

Yeah but my point was simply stating that staying on the outside of California doesn't end all your troubles.

    True that....
My point is...If Brown was never elected in the first place....Mary Nichols wouldn't be the CARB Nazi she is today....

They (meaning the technicians), can't tell you what is causing the problems? I don't know what to tell you. There has to be a root cause, something wrong somewhere. Swift is running at least some Cascadias with the ISX, I saw 1 the other night with the Clean Idle sticker with the Cummins C on it.

I'm not going to get into the politics of CARB, I don't live there, and barring employment with a company other than where I am now, never will drive truck there.

The problem is this....EGR's by design....Will always fail....Mary Nichols knows this fact...But doesn't care....
Nichols is an appointee...She's not elected...She knows she has a job for life....She knows she can ban diesels from running in Cali if she so desires...Nobody would stop her...The Cali legislature would back her up 100%....
