thanks rednecktigger for the info. my app is approved already, been talking to sandy shes pretty cool to talk to. i just have to give her a date to come to school. i better make it soon before the may deadline. would you or spat be opposed to taking on a trainee. need to know all the tricks

Hey guys...I know its prob in here somewhere but how much is the training pay? I realize the there is no pay during the academy but whats the deal during road training ?

from what my recruiter said its 455 a week, and i believe its on the FFE website also. hope that helps

 

once on the road with a trainer it's 455 for the 6 weeks that you are out. your 12 month commitment starts after orientation, so the 6 weeks your out counts towards that.

 

curious what does the medical ins cost for a family thru FFE

 

i can tell you it isn't cheap, but not many places in the industry have cheap insurance.

 

I have been solo for 2 months now. I lowest I have brought home is 396.00, the most was 878.00. My average is about 680.00. If you get stuck in the meat patch and then go to an Americold, your check is going to suck. But I love it anyway. The only people I hear ##### are the ones you would expect. All the people that I know from my class are doing just like me.

 

hmm in class on thursday, crap i forget her name, stated thats when the time started when we were signing our 1 year contracts. her logic was that since thats when we got our employee number thats when the time started.

not a huge deal in the end i guess. lol i had to leave to go see the doc due to the dot phys issues, so when i go back next week i'll ask again.
